MCFARLINS ON MISSION
Serving in Maai Mahiu, Kenya

Overlooking the Great Rift Valley!
Hi! We're the McFarlins!
Elisha, Kendall, & Maddie
We're high school sweethearts from Murfreesboro, TN who married in college and welcomed our little love soon after we received our diplomas!
For the past 5 years, we've felt God's calling on our lives to serve in international missions. We've been praying for God to reveal those plans in His perfect timing and He has answered!
In the beginning of 2024, we were put in contact with Naomi's Village, an incredible organization that you can read more about on their website here! The ministry houses about 100 orphans and has a school that provices a Christ-centered education to an additional 450 vulnerable children from the Maai Mahiu community, where children face threats of sex trafficking, malnutrition, and family violence. In addition to providing for the children's physical needs, the organization pours the love of Christ into the kids and proclaims the Gospel message to a community that desperately needs that light! In January 2025, we visited the ministry in Kenya and began planning for our move!
Elisha will be serving with the Kenyan accounting staff to facilitate communication and accuracy with the US administrative staff in Texas. Kendall will stay at home with Maddie, working on language acquisition and cultural immersion, and visit the ministry with Maddie as much as they can!
Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.
PSALMS 82:3
We are so excited to share about how God is working as we follow His command to defend the fatherless, the poor, and the oppressed! We are passionate about Naomi's Village's mission to help foster the next generation of "world-changers" in Kenya through the love of Christ!
On this website, you can find monthly ministry updates and information on how you can pray for and support our family relationally and financially!
Thank you for partnering with us as we join Naomi's Village's vision to spread the light of Christ to the Maai Mahiu community!
